This meeting will take place virtually: \nThursday\, May 16th  \n9:00am-10:00am \nWe will be having a presentation from: \nACLU of Southern California  \nTopic: ACLU of Southern California \nInfo: The ACLU SoCal works tirelessly to protect and promote the fundamental rights of all individuals. They advocate for justice\, equality\, and fairness. The organization operates in the Southern California region\, which includes counties such as Los Angeles\, Kern\, Orange\, Riverside\, San Bernardino\, San Luis Obispo\, Santa Barbara\, and Ventura. The ACLU SoCal challenges government and police practices that treat unhoused people as criminals. They fight against ticketing and arresting unhoused individuals for sitting\, sleeping\, or lying on public sidewalks. Through litigation\, advocacy\, and policy changes\, the Dignity for All Project strives to uphold human dignity and create a more just and compassionate society.
